Welcome to March! Over the past month, our passionate RNs had the privilege of assisting several new individuals and their families, and it’s been truly rewarding to see how much of a positive impact we’ve had on their journeys to recovery. Interestingly, among two of the families who reached out to us, their family members were also registered nurses from a world-renowned hospital. Because of their vast experience in healthcare, they both sought our services; they understood that their loved ones would benefit from staying home for recovery rather than being admitted to a hospital. For many families, this choice provides a more peaceful and effective recovery than the typical hospital environment. Of course, not everyone has an RN in the family to advocate for making these choices, so we hope to bridge that gap and encourage you and your loved ones to reach out to us to help you choose the recovery plan that works best for you! “When I visit hospital floors, I witness firsthand the overwhelming conditions that both patients and staff face. I’m sure you’ve heard from friends or personally experienced long wait times at medical appointments and the ER, which only adds to the stress of an already difficult situation. In many cases, time is of the essence, and waiting for hours to then receive all-too-rushed care has sadly become the norm.” – Lisa, Nursing Liaisons cofounder The Challenges Facing Hospitals Today Hospital overcrowding, staff shortages, and long waits are common issues, worsened by healthcare industry repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic. These challenges can significantly affect the quality of care patients receive. As a result, more and more individuals are choosing private nursing services for care at home.
