Three primary services… Countless ways of caring

Nursing Liaisons provides specialized caring nurses who will help you through the usual and the critical medical issues that affect your family and your senior parents. You can summarize our services in three caring categories but our assistance can be as great as your need.

Appointment Care
Your assigned Nursing Liaisons RN will accompany you or your elder loved one to his or her appointment and communicate with the physician. We then communicate with you and other pre-designated family members to ensure that everyone is fully informed of the client’s medical status and proper medical directions. Nursing Liaisons can either meet you at your appointment or transport you to and from the appointment in our vehicles, at your preference.

Pre- and Post-Procedure Care
Nursing Liaisons RNs will accompany and transport the patient to and from procedures where the patient would not be able to drive themselves; for instance for procedures including:

• Colonoscopies Day surgeries

• Pain clinic appointments

• Appointments requiring conscious sedation

Post-Surgery & Private Duty Respite Care
Whether as a result of a recent surgery or procedure, or just generally due to the health or age of a patient, our clients need proper medical attention after they have left the medical facility. Our Nursing Liaison nurses stay with the patient and attend to their needs until their medical situation stabilizes. We give them the care and peace of mind that they need.

Sometimes, a client traveling to Boston for surgery must stay locally in a hotel upon discharge before receiving physician clearance to return home. Nursing Liaisons will work with the patients’ family to care for the patient, even if only for a few hours, to provide medical assistance to the patient and much needed relief for the attending family members.

For other procedures, such as plastic surgery, the client may want to maintain privacy and not involve family and friends in their immediate post-procedure recuperation. Nursing Liaisons is a perfect option to help the patient through those sensitive and medically important recoveries.
