Nursing Liaisons are specialized nurses providing outpatient transportation, respite care, post-procedure assistance, private-duty care, and peace of mind for you and your elderly loved ones.

Our mission is simple: We want you to experience the same level of comfort and support as you would if you had a nurse in the family.

Nursing Liaisons founder Eleanor Ericson, as well as all of the nurses we employ, have the expertise, knowledge and experience to provide an ideal assistance plan for you and your family.

In 2007, Ellie founded Nursing Liaisons being keenly aware from her 30 years of experience in bedside nursing, that there was a need for post-facility care for patients released from the hospital.

Ellie has been working in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Brigham and Women’s Hospital since 1985. Prior to that time, she worked in the Cardiothoracic ICU and the ICU Float Pool. She earned her diploma in nursing from the Mt. Auburn Hospital School of Nursing in1978 and went on to earn her BSN from Worcester State College in 1982. She is Certified as a Critical Care R.N. and has also earned certificates in Geriatric Care Management, as well as in Guided Care.

Ellie grew up in Waltham, Mass., as one of ten children – a background that gives her a unique understanding of our clients’ family relationships. She currently lives in north Central Massachusetts with her husband and three children.

Lisa Hyde-Barrett, RN
Lisa joined Nursing Liaisons in 2009 and is pivotal in coordinating day-to-day operations. A graduate of Laboure College of Dorchester, MA, Lisa brings experience from 20 years of nursing at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, specializing in ICU thoracic surgery nursing where she worked along side Ellie.

In addition, Lisa has provided nursing support in the areas of private duty cases and surgical care at the Carney Hospital . She is certified in Guided Care which was presented from Johns Hopkins Hospital. Also, Lisa recently has been certified in Reiki, a Japanese “laying on hands” technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing.

Lisa’s passions include working out, spending time with her family, friends, and her 2 dogs. She is originally from Waltham Ma and resides in Hanover Ma with her family.

Kerri Boudreau, RN, BSN
Kerri graduated cum laude in 1998 from Northeastern University.  Since then Kerri has worked at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston.  The last 8 years working with Ellie in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.

Kerri, raised in Dedham currently lives in Walpole with her husband and three girls.  Kerri’s spare time is devoted to her family and friends.  She enjoys baking with her children and watching them play sports.

 

 

 

Tyler Warren, RN, BSN
Tyler is a recent graduate of UMass-Boston, and joined Nursing Liaisons in 2012. Tyler has worked in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, and did his preceptorship under the company’s founder, Eleanor Ericson, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Last year, Tyler traveled to Kenya on a medical mission with a group of nurses from UMass-Boston to provide screening and treatment for cardiovascular diseases in the rural areas surrounding Nairobi.

Tyler grew up on Cape Cod, and currently resides in Cambridge.
